4th Preview Service

We held our 4th preview service at Stillwater Community Church this past Sunday. It went well. We had a total of 40 people including children. The service went well. We used all the sound equipment and video projection they had set-up and it all worked well.

Pastor Kurt for Stillwater had asked Jonathan and I to come to their two services that morning so that he could introduce us to their people. They are excited for us and were very encouraging. The church had a banner made that will be hung each week that says, "Stillwater Community Church welcomes Catalyst Church." It was great. It is incredible that these folks are so kingdom minded and don't see us as competition.

We addressed the third core value, Serving. We looked at the book of Esther and peered into the lives of Mordecai and Esther. I thought it went pretty well. Jonathan Finkenbiner came and shared some of the practical ways that we will be serving our community.

I kept saying "this morning" when it was really after 2 p.m. that was weird and will take some getting used to.

All in all it was a great day.
