Breaking Ground…

Well we broke ground on our building Sunday Night. It was some tough ground to break too. I could barely get the shovel to penetrate the soil. We had a nice crowd, most of our launch team, several pastors, the District Superintendant, and some friends. The truth is, I didn't really know what to do for a groundbreaking. So we sang a song, I said a few words, our District Superintendant(Rob McDonald) said a few words, and the construction supervisor (Dick Stallings) handed out floor plans and showed us where the building would sit, we did a responsive reading, and took turns digging some dirt.

Special thanks to Tim Moriarty for putting up our "Coming Soon" church sign. It looks fantastic. I will post pictures when I get the memory card.
