Sunday Recap

  • I love having church at 2:00 p.m. It looks like we will stay at this time for a while because the building has not been started yet. I am already fearing Sundays this fall when the Cowboys are playing. 2:00 may not be so cool then.
  • Did something I have never done before. I went for a run Sunday morning. I actually enjoyed it. I prayed for three churches as I ran by them.
  • Church yesterday felt weird. I felt disconnected for some reason. The music was good but some of the instruments were cutting out.
  • We had a guest guitar player, Samuel, a friend from Cornerstone Church. He rocked.
  • Andrew ran sound. He is just learning and did an incredible job. He is a quick learner and will be a great asset to the team. We need to train another one or two people this summer so he is not always stuck back there.
  • I am so ready to be in our building with our equipment and decor.
  • Went out to dinner with new friends last night. Dinner turned into ice cream which turned into long conversations. Love meeting new people and answering their questions about Catalyst.
  • Heather says I went on a "man date" last night. I went and saw a movie with my buddy, Juan. We saw the new Narnia movie. It was good but took too long to get going. I may be in the minority, but I like the first one better.

What!? You liked the first one better?! Sacriledge!! LOL! Just kidding man.

Btw, the guitarist from Cornerstone did indeed bring the ROCK with him! And may I say that it super freakin' cool how non territorial and supportive Cornerstone is of Catalyst. That's the dream of God right being lived out in RL man. Awesome!

Btw, I think it ROCKS that you prayed for churches as you ran past them. Don't look now, but that's kind of charasmatic thing to do.... ;)

Btw, I'll show up as "volt" but this is Rich. Long dang story.
