The most beautiful dirt in the world can be found at 7600 Princeton Dr. Rowlett, TX 75089. Don't believe me? Go and see for yourself. It is beautiful because it means progress, beautiful because it has been a long time coming, and beautiful because it means that the foundations will soon be laid for our church building. Don't confuse this with the foundation of the church because they are two different things.
See, the church is something far different than a building. It is a living, breathing, movement of God that cannot be stopped. We may outgrow this building in a few years, but the church, this living, breathing movement of God is so much bigger than any structure we could ever build. Our building will have sturdy foundation of concrete and possibly some piers. The foundation of our church is set on Jesus.
Matthew 7:24-25, says "Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock."
