- Everything rocked at Catalyst today!
- Lots of people there early to help set-up. Set-up was as smooth as it has been yet. The sound stuff got set up fast and was working great.
- We had a record attendance of 61. We had several regulars gone, we easily could have had over 70. THAT IS INCREDIBLE!
- The lights were working today, made a huge difference in the "feel" of the room.
- Music was as good as it has ever been. The mix was great, reverb was great, songs were great, the vibe was awesome.
- I am incredibly impressed with Andrew, our sound guy. He is picking up the sound stuff faster than I ever imagined. Each time we bring somebody around to help him, he soaks it up like a sponge. He is the antithesis of all the "know it all" sound guys I have met in the past.
- I got lots of comments about my sunburned face. I love that our people don't let that stuff slide. The funniest thing I got asked was if I fell asleep outside. I said no, "I just spent the night in a tanning bed."
- My forehead is now blistered with those ugly yellow blisters, and if things progress like they normally do I will begin peeling in the next day or so.
- Felt good about the sermon. I am so excited to be in the book of James for the next 7 weeks.
- It is looking like I will lose my first week of Fantasy Football. I still have a bunch of players in the Monday night game, but they will need career days to pull me ahead.
- I took Addy disc golfing with a good friend, and she loved it. She told me on the way home that I made her stay in teh stroller too much. I probably did at the end of the round . We were trying to squeeze in a couple of holes before the sun went down.
- Addy and I got home after 8:00 p.m. and had not eaten dinner. Too bad fruit snacks don't count. So she ate a PB&J in the tub before crashing for the night.
