Good Day

Today was a good day:

• Met with Sprang and talked through some stuff.  Planning for the future and tightening some things up.  I can't begin to describe the growth I have seen in him over the last 6 years.  He keeps getting better and better at what he does. 
  
• Did some shopping for a couple of office items.  Long story short, I have needed a decent office chair as we move here with one and now have two computer areas.  Either Heather or I have been sitting on a wooden chair, mostly Heather for the last several months.  I was very patient waiting for chairs to go on sale, and then used a 20% off coupon to get a chair that is usually $189, but on sale for $129, for right around $100.  I was pretty proud of that.  Much more comfy than a wooden kitchen chair.
• I also got an external hard drive to backup all my files in case this laptop's hard drive ever fails.  I would hate to lose all my documents, etc..
• Heather made a really good meal for dinner.
• I made amends with someone I had hurt.  I have to admit that I was completely at fault in this case.  Don't like to admit that, but it is the truth.
• Reffed an easy soccer game.
• Went to quick trip with the family to get drinks.  We got a slurpee, two coffees, and a hot dog for the kids for the same price as a large Starbucks drink. 
• Put Addy to bed, she busted me for skipping a page of her story.  I held the pages together hoping she wouldn't notice, but that girl is sharp.  She about choked on her milk trying to tell me I had missed a page. 
  

So all in all a good day.  I am reading some commentary on James 5 and heading to bed.
