I am sitting in a hotel room in Little Rock, Arkansas with my parents. My mom is giving Addy a bath and I am chilling on a couch with my dad surfing the net. Life is Good. Since moving to Texas and further away from all our family, we truly treasure these times with family. Not that we took them for granted before, but now it takes a concerted effort to get together.
The kids were up until nearly 11:00 last night completely giddy to see Poppy and Grammy. They are used to seeing each other on Skype once a week and the weekly video interaction made a big difference in how quickly Keegan warmed up to my parents.
I have a lot to be thankful for and thought I would just churn out a short list. I am thankful for:

I have a lot to be thankful for and thought I would just churn out a short list. I am thankful for:
- A great wife. I am constantly amazed by complete and utter awesomeness.
- Two healthy kids. We had a scary situation with Addy this year, but she is fully recovered and there is really no signs of the 22 staples that were in her head.
- New friends. Some of our closest friends now are people that we had not yet met a year ago.
- A job I love. I love what I do. I am thankful for the past year and excited about the future of Catalyst Church.
- Other Pastors. I am thankful for the generosity and genuine friendship of other Pastors in the Rowlett area.
- Two great friends. I have two guys that are the closest thing to brothers I can imagine. I work with one, Sprang. He is a great friend that I can trust like no one else. The other is my buddy Ian, a friend from college that I haven't seen in years, but talk to weekly if not more often.
- Catalyst- I am thankful for the church we are and the church we are becoming. We are no longer a Sunday night bible study, but have not yet scratched the surface of who we are becoming.
- Jesus. I guess you knew it was coming. Each year I am more thankful for the work Christ did on the cross for all of humanity. He continues to mold me in the the person he wants me to be.
- Health. I have taken steps to become more active. I discovered mountain biking a few months ago and started playing soccer again for the first time in several years. I feel much better than I have in years.
- I could write for hours of the things for which I am thankful, but I have no desire to bore you to tears.
