I love the Christmas season. It is more fun than ever with my Daughter Addy, who is almost four years old. She loves the decorations, the lights, the animatronic lawn decorations. I hung Christmas lights for the first time ever this year. I thought it would be a chore, but seeing how much my daughter loves them, I want to buy even more stuff when it goes on clearance this year.
My Aunt Connie flew in from Chicago this week to spend time with us. She spoils our kids rotten when she is around and they love every minute of it. We were in CVS last night and she picked up a lighted reindeer with a moving head for the yard. Addy flipped out when she saw it this morning. She started yelling, "Its Clarise, Clarise" Clarise is the female reigndeer in the Rudolph story for those who are out of the loop. Then she proclaimed, "She moves, her head moves." and then went and hugged the wire contraption like it was as soft as cotton.
I think the next several years will be some of the most memorable Chrismases ever. It is fun this year, I can't even imagine what next year will be like with Keegan understanding even more and bringing his excitement to the season as well.
