Sunday Recap

  • Great day at Catalyst.  I know I say this a lot, but it was a great day.
  • Music was ON!  From the first song to the last note, the place was into the music.
  • I completely dig the "song of hope" we have been singing.
  • Had a guest guitarist, Matt Heibert, from Stillwater Community Church play today.  He did a great job! Thanks Matt.
  • Good to see new faces.
  • I had a tough time writing the sermon for this week.  It just took forever to develop and morphed several times in the process, but I believe it was a message that many of us needed to hear.
  • Ate at Ruby Tuesday.  Love, love, love that salad bar.  I got a burger and it was average, but the salad bar more than made up for it.
  • Took a short nap, and convinced my buddy Blain to go riding today.
  • Had a tremendous mountain bike ride (George W.) rode the same trail this past Thursday.
  • Straightened up a stack of junk that had gotten completely out of control in the bedroom, which seemed to make Heather happy.
  • Skyped my parents for about 25 minutes.  Keegan climbed up the bed and jumped onto a beanbag chair the entire time.  He was sweaty and completely worn out.
  • Put Keegan to bed, he was literally pointing at the crib.  I think it is the first time he has done that.
  • Finally got my xbox 360 to communicate with hulu.com and was able to watch a couple of shows on my tv via the internet.
  • Saw a facebook status update declaring the stage in the new building was done.  Thanks a bunch Andrew, Brad, Nathan, and Fred.  You guys are freaks.
  • Read a bit, hit the sack around 1:00 a.m.
