This has been a busy but productive week. Lots of things going on these days. Here are a few highlights:

- I now have office space at the church and came in to get some stuff done Tues. For whatever reason, they key I had would not open the front door, only the side door. I head down to the side door thinking that after I open it, I will have 20-30 seconds to run down the hall and disarm the alarm system. The truth is that I had between .2-.3 of a second to get down the hall. As soon as I stepped inside the motion detectors caught me and sent the whole building into and uproar. I ran down the hall, shut the thing off and walk sheepishly to my office. About 10 minutes later I see and orb of light shoot across my office wall only to peer out my window and see two of Rowlett's finest officers looking in the windows. They were very kind, did not issue a citation, and went about their business. NOT a good way to start a day.
- Yesterday, I took the morning off and went with the family to the Dallas Farmer's market. It was a blast! You couldn't walk 10 feet without the vendors slicing you a piece of fresh, orange, watermelon, mango, papaya, or pineapple. We bought a bunch of fresh fruit and veggies and the kids had a blast.
- On the way out, we saw a few vendors underneath one of the pavilions and we went to check them out. They were the wholesale guys and their prices were much better, but it was like Sam's Club and you had to buy the items in bulk. My idea is to find two or three families who want some fresh produce each week to split the cost of the bulk items. Any takers?

at least you know if something goes wrong the cops will be there fairly quickly!
The building looks great, and we definitely want to come out there to worship with you guys one Sunday!
You guys have a free place to stay when you are ready for a road trip.
Levi - Cody & I were thinking the same thing about the bulk produce. Heather & I will have to get together & work out the details!
