Sunday Recap...

  • Great Day at Catalyst.
  • Had 97 people there and a ton of folks out of town.
  • Had our first guest that watched live online last week and came in person today. Very cool. That is exactly what we hoped might happen.
  • Music was solid. Opened with "Message in a Bottle" by The Police and closed with a song called "Your All I Need" that Heather knocked out of the park.
  • Talked about four words. "He restores my soul" . If nothing else, people are learning a lot about sheep during this series...
  • Actually, the message seemed to connect. Had a lot of good response. Seems like everytime I am vulnerable, it connects with people. It is kind of like walking a tight rope on knowing where the line is on sharing personal stuff.
  • My college roomate Jeremy Self his wife Ashley and crew worshipped with us. He pastors a church in Austin, TX called Free Chapel. Great to see them and hang with them afterwards for lunch.
  • Had a few people over for dinner tonight and had a blast. My buddy Andrew cooks a mean brisket, thanks dude.
  • I look back on the day and realize that I get to pastor one of the greatest groups of people on the planet. I have great friends and a wonderful family. I am a very lucky guy.
